Job Position: Seasonal Agriculturist         Positions available: 4             Season June-October 2021

 

Grain/Alfalfa Farm in Manitoba is looking for seasonal labourers for the season 2021.

Wage: $15.12 CAD/hour

 

Job duties:

• Spaying, fertilizing, until harvest in Sept. with fieldwork complete in October.
• Haul and store bales
• Drive tractors and specialized farm/agricultural machinery
• 14-16 hours a day until farm operations are complete.

 

Benefits:

• Housing: Shared Farmhouse with all services provided by the employer without charge.
• Transportation to the farm with a company vehicle

 

Requirements:

Highschool preferably but not necessary

Excellent English skills

Experience: at least 1 year in Farm/Harvest similar position

Driver’s license from residence country and capable of obtaining Manitoba’s license as well.

A positive attitude and willingness to help others succeed in the days' responsibilities is required.

Available to relocate immediately if necessary.

Excellent health, capable of working long days in any weather condition.

Experience in Tractors, heavy machinery, and agricultural equipment is an asset.
