Job duties:

  • Prepare soil; plant bulbs, seedlings and cuttings; graft and bud plants; and transplant seedlings and rooted cuttings
  • Monitor trees for healthy growth and potential weed, insect, disease, and fertilizer problems in crops
  • Installing seedlings in fields and nursery
  • Position and regulate irrigation systems to water trees 
  • Acquiring, processing and planting to produce new trees as well as harvesting, packaging and field planting
  • Put material into processing boxes for reproduction 
  • Other duties required 

Job requirements

  • Attention to detail 
  • Able to lift 30 pounds repetitively
  • No allergies to pollen  
  • Working outdoors (90% outdoors) 
  • Able to work standing up for several hours at a time 
  • Tree growing experience is an asset 
  • 32 per week minimum

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science and/or Business OR Diploma in IT and/or Business with equivalent IT experience;
• 5+ years of testing experience;
• Working experience with industry standard test management tools (ex. JIRA, Micro Focus ALM, etc.)
• Working experience with functional automation test tools, specifically Selenium;
• Working experience with industry standard API automation test tools (ex. Smartbear SoapUI, REST-Assured, ParaSoft SOATest, etc.)
• Working knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC);
• Working experience in Agile methodologies;
• Working experience with Behavior Driven Development (BDD) frameworks and experience working with cucumber and gherkin;
• Foundational understanding of Java, JavaScript, JSON & API / Microservices;

A transportation company in Saskatchewan is looking for:

 2 Transport Truck Drivers 

Wage: 25 CAD/hour Full-Time 2-year contract          

 Location: Canada and USA       

 Hours: 40 to 70 week


Job duties:

  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspection of vehicle systems, equipment, and accessories such as tires, lights, and turn signals, brakes, and cold storage
  • Ensure cargo is secured properly in accordance with safety requirements and follow safety procedures for transporting dangerous goods
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
  • Communicate with the dispatcher, other drivers, and customers using communication devices and on-board computers
  • May drive as part of a two-person team or convoy

Requirements:

  • On the job training provided
  • Following certifications (obtain when landing in Saskatchewan is ok)
  • Saskatchewan Class 1A is required
  • Air brake endorsement (Z) is required
  • Transportation of dangerous goods (TDG) certification is required
  • At least 3 years experience as a Truck Driver
  • Truck driver license/International Truck license
  • Min 1 year experience long haul driving
  • B1/2 Visa (Tourist Visa) from the USA is a huge asset
  • Basic communication skills in Engish
  • Secondary school required

The worker must pay certifications in any Canadian school available, relocate to Canada, and IRCC fees.
