Experience - min 3 years
Ability to Supervise -5-10 people, Staff in various areas of responsibility
Additional Skills: Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures,
Address customers' complaints or concerns
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of staff who prepare, portion, and serve food
Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation
Establish work schedules and procedures
Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
Train staff in job duties, and sanitation and safety procedures
Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
Participate in the selection of food service staff and assist in the
development of policies, procedures, and budgets
Plan restaurant menus and determine related food and labour costs.
Specific Skills: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, Estimate and order ingredients and supplies, Ensure food service and quality control, maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, prepare food order summaries for the chef, supervise and check assembly of trays, establish work schedules, workers supervised: cook (general), food and beverage servers, food service counter attendants and food preparers, kitchen, and food service helpers.
