Construction Labourers in Canada
Come work as a Construction Labourers in the beautiful Town of Warman in Saskatchewan
Job Duties:
- Load and unload construction materials, and move materials to work areas in a safe manor
- Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt as required
- Assist tradespersons such as carpenters, bricklayers, cement finishers, roofers and glaziers in construction activities accurately to the direction provided
- Assist heavy equipment operators to secure special attachments to equipment, signal operators to guide them in moving equipment and provide assistance in other activities
- Level earth to fine grade specifications using rake and shovel as per specifications
- Assist in demolishing buildings using prying bars and other tools, and sort, clean and pile salvaged materials in a safe manor
- Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites using rakes, shovels, wheelbarrows and other equipment
- Operate pneumatic hammers, vibrators and tampers as directed when needed
- Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction such as mixers, compressors and pumps
- Oil and grease hoists and similar equipment
- Perform other activities at construction sites, as directed.
Job Requirements:
- Experience in residential framing construction is an asset
- Punctual
- Attention to detail
- Work outside in all weather conditions
- Vehicle is an asset
- Knowledge of hand tools
- Able to work safely
- Able to to with heights
- Able to work standing for long periods
Wage Offered: 21.00 CAD per hour
