Company profile: Our Seed Farm is a family run Pedigree Seed farm located near Eston, Saskatchewan. For over 30 years, we have dedicated our land to the production of certified seed using sustainable farming practices. We are currently looking for a hard-working and reliable individual to join our team as a full-time general farm worker.

Type of employment: Fulltime year-round permanent
Wage: $20.00 per hour, wage reviews periodically.
Education: Completion of Secondary School is required
Work experience: Experience is an asset, but we are willing to train.
Job duties:
  • Assisting with planting the seed as well as applying fertilizer
  • Assist as required with harvest and tasks associated with harvesting
  • Operating farming equipment including tractors, air drills, sprayers, combines, trucks and grain trailers, augers, etc.
  • Load, unload and transfer crates
  • Assist other workers such as picking, sorting, and packaging
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, working in wet and damp surfaces
  • Clean and organize areas of the farm as required
  • Shovel and move earth as well as other materials as needed on the farm
  • Complete other essential duties as directed and required
  • Lift heavy objects repeatedly at times
