Terms of employment: Permanent, Full time 32 to 40 hours/week

Job requirements
Language required -Excellent English Skills
Education – Secondary (high school) certificate
Experience – more than 3 years as a Food Service supervisor in big food chains and more than 5 years in the Food industry
Ability to Supervise -5-10 people, Staff in various areas of responsibility
Additional Skills: Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures,
Address customers' complaints or concerns
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of staff who prepare, portion, and serve food
- Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation
- Establish work schedules and procedures
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
- Participate in the selection of food service staff and assist in the development of policies, procedures, and budgets
- Plan restaurant menus and determine related food and labour costs.
Specific Skills: Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, Estimate and order ingredients and supplies, Ensure food service and quality control, maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, prepare food order summaries for a chef, supervise and check assembly of trays, establish work schedules, workers supervised: cook (general), food and beverage servers, food service counter attendants and food preparers, kitchen and food service helpers.
