We are seeking highly motivated, hard-working candidates to work in our hay farm during our busiest hay season (April to Nov).
The applicant must be able to do the heavy lifting, work well in a team environment, ability to work long hours or early mornings, late afternoons, and weekends if required, the ability to work outdoors in ALL weather conditions.
Job Duties:
Land Work and development, such as root/trees clearing, disc, burning piles.
Prepare seeds and fertilizer and irrigation system and seeding.
Operate various farm machines for the purposes of plant, fertilize, cultivate, spray, irrigate and harvest, including but not limited to tractors, balers, windrowers, disc bine, rock/root pickers, rake, stackers, seeders, and sprayers.
Hauling hays and fertilizers
Stack, load, and unload hay in /from the sheds to the hay barns.
Report and follow the instructions of the farm supervisor.
Able to back to the position every year is preferred (which can save our training)
Work from Apr to Nov
Terms of employment: seasonal job (Apr-Nov)
Language of work: English (communication skills)
Wage: CAD 17.5/hour

Minimum Education requirement: High School
Experience: Three-year farming experience
Employer prefers workers from Mexico due to the short time of response from the Immigration process.
