Minimum of 32 hours a week.

Job Duties:

• Prepare, clean and sand surfaces to be painted
• Repair cracks and holes
• Mix paint to desired colour and texture
• Clean cut lines, apply paint by brush or roller
• Measure, cut and apply wallpaper and other fabric to walls
• Erect scaffolding and swing stages and attach rigging
• Ladder work, lifts and Heights
• Apply paint, wallpaper and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces

Job requirements:

• Inspect and test telecommunication transmission lines and cables for transmission characteristics and to locate faults and report as required 
• Analyze and record test results - Azimuth and Sweeps 
• Climb and work aloft on poles, ladders or other support structures or work in confined spaces such as trenches while following safety procedures 
• Communicate with other workers to coordinate the preparation and completion of work assignments 
• Assist in the erection and removal of telecommunication poles, towers, and associated support structures as required 
• May operate elevated platforms and other equipment
