A company from Halifax, NS, Canada is looking for a Developer (UX/UI) position to help build future versions of the product. They are specifically looking for someone to bridge the gap between the design and engineering teams.
The key responsibilities are:
Establishing and adhering to best practices in UX/UI design architecture, engineering, and programming
Prototyping and evaluating applications and interaction methodologies
Producing code that is fault-tolerant, efficient, and maintainable
Produce user interface design elements to bring features and products to market
Create wireframes and prototypes for testing and quick feedback
Interact directly with software developers, product managers, and designers to define application workflows and screen layouts
Key characteristics of the individuals we are looking for include:
A friendly and curious demeanor, with an eye for quality software development
A desire and passion to design and develop user-friendly products
Experience or desire for working on an empowered team to prototype & implement
Basic Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in web front-end development such as HTML,CSS, SCSS/SASS
Understanding of using templating systems in frameworks like Angular or React or Vue
Understanding and comfortable working in Object Oriented Programming languages like C# or Java
Nice to have experience in WordPress
2+ years of experience in Sketch, Invision, Adobe XD (or equivalent program)
2+ years of experience prototyping, and designing
