Locations of work: Commercial buildings and Strata’s, Repainting, Maintenance, Fire damage, Historical Restoration, Renovation, Wallcoverings in Kelowna, B.C.
Minimum of 32 hours a week.
Job Duties:
- Prepare, clean and sand surfaces to be painted
- Repair cracks and holes
- Mix paint to desired colour and texture
- Clean cut lines, apply paint by brush or roller
- Measure, cut and apply wallpaper and other fabric to walls
- Erect scaffolding and swing stages and attach rigging
- Ladder work, lifts and Heights
- Apply paint, wallpaper and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces

Job requirements:
- Working with others, pay attention to details, must not afraid of heights
- Fall arrest training and first aid skills are an asset
- Problem solving, Critical thinking, Job task planning and organizing, significant use of memory
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience is required in residential and commercial painting.
- Type of Establishment/Work Setting Experience: Commercial, Institutional, Residential.
