Job duties:
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
- Prepare and cook special meals as per allergies
- Work as a team on a line to provide fast and accurate meals
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
- May clean kitchen and work area
- Be able to run the line during a busy rush
- Follow detailed recipes
- Ensure quality of food
- Work with specialized cooking equipment (deep fryer, etc.)
Job requirements:
- Education: High school, Culinary degree, or certifications in the field are an asset
- At least 1 year of experience in kitchens
- At least CLB 4 English score.
- Team player
- Passionate about cooking
- Handle fast pace of the busy kitchen
- Attention to detail
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
- Punctual
- Able to follow directions
Wage Offered: 14-15 CAD/ hour
